The InfoCube system can use nondedicated PC’s for workstations or any combination of wireless stations. Each wireless station allows for calling the next patient automatically and supports statistical tracking of patients. The wireless Paging Station has a keypad that allows staff to login and logout of the system for tracking staff work hours. The economical wireless Call Station can be used by staff for calling the next patient. The InfoCube architecture allows for two different network configurations.
Network Configuration 1: InfoCube system utilizes existing hospital IT network for workstations. Each workstation requires a nondedicated PC. Wireless workstations use InfoCube’s proprietary network for interference free communications.
Network Configuration #2: InfoCube system operates with only 1 PC and does not connect to the hospitals network. This is a stand-a-lone system. All work stations are wireless and the hospital may utilize any combination of Paging or Call stations.
